Chronetic is a time tracker and invoicing tool for freelancers, built local-first: your work lives on your device, not on someone else's server.
Local-first is the default, not a setting. Chronetic stores everything in a database on your own device. Cloud backup and cross-device sync exist, but both are off until you turn them on — and both put your data in accounts you control.
Start a timer against a client and service, or log a session by hand. A running timer survives backgrounding and force-quit.
Per-client and per-service rates, hourly or flat, with sensible defaults so most entries need no thought.
Your logged time grouped by period or by client, with totals, earnings, and inline editing.
Generate an invoice from a date range, itemized or flat-rate, and export it as a PDF.
Manual CSV and JSON export, plus optional automatic backup to your own Google Drive.
Optional account-based sync to keep more than one device in step. Off unless you sign in.
Chronetic is in active development and currently distributed for testing on iOS and macOS. It is not yet on the App Store.
